Fox's Lucifer Cast Attend Comic Con San Diego 2015

If you didn't attend Comic Con San Diego. You missed a chance to get a peak at Fox's Lucifer pilot episode before the TV airing . ( It will actually come to Fox in 2016)
I did get a few inside opinions after chatting with a few by DM on twitter who had the pleasure of attending Comic Con San Diego. The opinions seemed unanimous Lucifer looked like a hit for Fox.  I asked each one if they thought Lucifer could be as big as Fox's Empire.  No one confidently answered Yes , but they did feel if the writer's continued it could be another big hit.  I did get the opinions it was full of sex, murder and drugs and may be a bit too mature for little one's ( Young children really shouldn't be watching certain shows)
Of course the women that attended just adored "Tom Ellis" who's the one and only Lucifer. The ladies said Lucifer seem very charming in the pilot while Lucifer's brother the Angel Amenadiel Played by "DB Woodside" really came off as unlikable for now (one used Jerk). After seeing it I thought they both  played their characters very well Tom Ellis seems to  really fit his character's personality Tom Ellis shows a very sweet and charming side in person his twitter feeds really show this type of personality. Db Woodside's character is a bit different from the  business man, lawyer type characters he's been known for.  It's good to see him in a different role.   Here's a few pictures from Comic Con 2015.

Do you think Tom Ellis is enjoying Comic Con with co-star Lesley Ann-Brandt?

Toni Morrison Lastest Novel: God Help The Child

Toni Morrison

Toni Morrison award winning, over 13 awards One being the Nobel Prize in Literature, literary legend who is 84 years old.  Is showing the world she is no where near retiring or has no thoughts of it. " I know how to write forever" is what Mrs. Morrison told New York Times columnist Colin Archdeacon  about her love of writing.  (You can get more of that story at the link following the story.)  And it's so wonderful to know we will be graced with another novel from Mrs. Morrison the title: "God Help The Child" available April 21, 2015

God Help The Child by Toni Morrison (Available April 21, 2015 Hardcover $14.97 Amazon.com)

This novel, Mrs. Morrison says, tackles the internalized racism that has plagued the African American community about skin shade since slavery and the affects of it.  And the summary of the novel
reveals how the story does just that, it's about a Mother who is lighter skinned ashamed of a daughter that is born very dark skinned. As described in excerpts from the novel " Sudanese black","midnight black" the Mother was so bothered by the color of her child's skin shade she would not allow her daughter to call her "Mama" but only allowed to call her "Sweetness"  Again Mrs. Morrison pulls at the heart strings and touches places that are difficult to address.
Listen to her interview with Colin Archdeacon's video for the New York Times: http://nyti.ms/1FkEKGS
Thank you Mrs. Morrison for continually giving those of us that love reading great stories. I can't wait, I will be one getting my copy on April 21, 2015.  I will update when I finish reading. Please post up your thoughts!

Spotlighting This Award Winning, Inspirational Musical Genius: WordSmith

Empowering, Inspiring, and spiritual are words I would use to describe the Artist  known as Wordsmith's music. With so many bands and artist it's so hard to find a truly unique one. But that's definitely not the case with the artist Wordsmith.  His music is truly an inspirational form he not only has a style that works for the hip hop community but his music can touch and relate to anyone that has a family or just trying to survive and you don't have to cover your children's ears when they are around. Which may have a lot to do with him choosing to stay in full control of his music by being independent. He's currently with the label Nu Revolution. I shared a video so you can listen for yourself: "Gems of Wisdom ft. BJR"

off of his most recent album below

Love the beat and music of this, one of my favorites "I Got a Promotion" from his Apt. 507 album.

Wordsmith's in his own words (taken from his Indiegogo campaign page)

"You have a purpose in life. That’s right, YOU! We are all here to make an impact on not just our personal lives, but the lives of family, friends and ultimately the strangers who may cross your path from time to time.
Point is, we all have a purpose in life and I really would like to have a bigger voice in this world. I’ve always wanted to spread my message of purpose and how important it is to seek out your gifts in life. I want to speak for the families, the single mothers, the single fathers, the blue collar worker and most of all our youth.
Music is my gift. The way I can help this world is by using my talents to spread a message that will help everyday people wake up each morning and ask themselves, “What am I here to accomplish? Who can I give a helping hand to, and how can I be a productive member of society?” I make music for the masses, and I want the world to know that there are artists like myself out here who have something to say, don’t use profanity and seek to make a change in this lifetime.
Stay real,
Wordsmith"

If you would like to learn more about Wordsmith and help him reach his goal of $32,000.00 also continue to spread his inspiring music. click the link: http://igg.me/at/WordsmithEP/x

Please go to Wordsmith twitter and let him know how you enjoyed his music. :@Wordsmith https://twitter.com/wordsmith
Thanks Wordsmith for your positive and real messages.  I look forward to more of your projects.
(I will continue to keep watching for new information on Wordsmith definitely one to watch.)
